This lithium battery is intended for a 540ci engine size or less; an 80-amp alternator/generator or less. It is most commonly used as the primary aircraft battery in experimental aircraft; however, it can be upgraded for touring motorcycles. If you have an airboat, you need to use the ETX1600 battery found here: Motorcycle Battery ETX1600 | 12V LiFePo4 battery | EarthX
Also, this aircraft battery or starter battery used in other applications is fully protected by an integrated battery management system (BMS). The BMS protects cells from over-discharge, over-charge, short circuit, and temperature, in addition to cell balancing to ensure charge levels are equal. Additionally, the ETX-Hundred-Series aircraft batteries have redundant electronic circuits and battery fault indication. The fault indicator can be connected to your EFIS or wired to a 12-volt LED light on your control panel to alert you to the battery’s state of charge and state of health. (Please see the manual for details)
Included when you purchase this ETX900:
- 1 x ETX900
- 2 x 6mm screws
- Foam for proper fitment
LED fault light sold separately
